Letter to the Queen

Albert asks that as many people as possible write to the Queen along the same lines (ideally in your own words) with copies to the following members of the Royal Family.

Prince Charles, Prince William, Prince Harry, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward, Princess Anne

Here’s the example letter, further down the page  are details about writing to the Royal Family including their full titles and addresses. It’s also a good idea to use covering letters to the personal secretaries to ensure your letters arrive on recipients’ personal desks and are not merely passed to “Her Majesty’s Ministers”, a habit of correspondence officials.

[INSERT DATE OF WRITING]

Madam,

The British people have handed our United Kingdom back to Your Majesty after successive Parliaments have attempted to destroy it under foreign rule and to implement the constitutional impossibility of reducing you to a mere citizen of Europe. This latter is to imagine the death of Your Majesty as Sovereign Queen of England, an act of high treason contrary to the 1351 Treason Act which is still firmly on the statute books.

The politicians who orchestrated this devastation of Britain are by any definition guilty of High Treason against Your Majesty’s Person. Their treason also extends to their claimed right to surrender Britain’s sovereignty. Sovereignty lies only with the Monarch and is inalienable.

The vast majority of Your Majesty’s subjects are loyal and you and the Royal Family are dearly loved by us. We have consistently rejected the lies, threats and scaremongering by David Cameron and his colleagues representing government agenda just as we have the lies and threats even from the President of the United States of America and from Europe’s top diplomats. Our intention has always been to hand the Crown back to Your Majesty to wear as Sovereign Queen of England as did indeed Queen Elizabeth the First.

Every major political party in Britain has supported this nation’s destruction and the treason against Your Majesty. I humbly ask that you dissolve this assembly of treasonable politicians and call an election to enable a clean up of British politics with new members who value and have fought for this country, banning from public office all present incumbents. Despite sworn allegiance, their record of fraudulent expenses claims, giving away our sovereignty and our finances, subversion of the British people, allowing foreign culture to colonise and take us over and the planned destruction of the nation for others’ political purpose clearly demonstrates the calculating agenda they serve.

Though provided with clear evidence, Your Majesty’s police have failed to make a single arrest for these criminal acts, until British people’s outrage forced five specimen arrests for fraud. Our British streets are being taken over by hordes of Muslim barbarians claiming our country as theirs while chief police officers overlook this atrocity instead of upholding Your Majesty’s English law. These police officials should be sacked without pension rights as each is in major breach of the oath they solemnly undertook to Your Majesty.

It is an utter nonsense that Your Majesty must always do as ministers say and that you may not publicly comment on government policy. Parliament are servants of the Crown, not its masters. By English constitutional and common law, the Monarch is the Head of State and with the Royal Assent which must be returned to Your Majesty’s exclusive safe keeping, it is for the Crown alone to exercise the sovereignty entrusted by the people and to grant only those enactments and laws that are in the people’s best interests. It is for the Head of State to lead this sovereign nation and to perform the duty to express opinion on things affecting it. It is Your Majesty’s Kingdom, but it is also our home. Your Majesty you do not have the right not to tell us what you believe in your heart is good or bad for us. Most definitely, it is not a right to surrender our sovereignty and birth right as a free people, to any other power on Earth.

Though there are demands for a new referendum because the recent result was not as expected, politicians still vow to continue to drive Britain into the failing European Union. It is for the Head of State to decree the recent vote final and to instruct its fulfilment not least as, in English law, Britain has never been part of the European Union since its 1972 “entry” was treasonable, null and void. One cannot leave an entity one is not a part of. One simply walks away.

With Your Majesty’s subjects’ heart-felt and unending support, please take back your Kingdom, dissolve Parliament, ban from public office all current members of both Houses, restore the hereditary Peerage who served the nation so well for hundreds of years, return the tri-partite construction of Parliament to the way our forefathers intended it with checks and balances. Abolish the automatic assent and remove all naturalised subjects from public office in accordance with the 1701 Act of Succession and the common and constitutional laws and custom and practice of this, Your Majesty’s Kingdom.

If Your Majesty will do these things, you will have the deep gratitude and support of the people. We are Your Majesty’s subjects who fervently believe in our country, our culture, our history, our values and in preserving all that our forebears so valiantly fought and died for. Our country should rightly be held in trust for our children and their children as our own parents did for us.

I have the honour to be, Madam, Your Majesty’s humble and obedient subject.

Dear Sir

Enclosed is a letter that I have written to Her Majesty.  You will see that it will not be appropriate for reference to her Ministers as it is about them that I write.  It is a personal plea to Her Majesty.

Will you therefore kindly ensure that it reaches Her Majesty’s desk for her personal attention,  please.

Yours faithfully,

Further tips below and remember to correctly address each letter:

The Queen and all members of the royal family have private secretaries who deal with their correspondence.

For the address of The Queen’s Private Secretary, see below.
(Her present Secretary
at Buckingham Palace is  Sir Christopher Geidt, KCVO, OBE).

Unless you are personally known to the Sovereign,  any letter to The Queen should be addressed to  “The Private Secretary to Her Majesty The Queen”.  There is no need to address the private secretary by name,  but if there is subsequent correspondence this should be addressed to the actual writer of the reply.

Only close personal friends would write to a member of the royal family direct.  All other correspondents should write to the private secretary,  the equerry or to the lady in waiting.  These letters should not be addressed to the holders of these appointments by name,  although any subsequent correspondence should be sent to the actual writer of the reply.

A couple of guidelines to help you write a letter to (say) Prince Harry:

1. Address him as “Your Royal Highness” or just “Your Highness”.

2. When addressing him in the letter or writing about other members of the Royal Family, write personal pronouns with capital letters (“You”, “He” etc).
In fact, if you write about other members of his family, write their titles before their names.  For example, “His Royal Highness Prince Charles, The Prince of Wales” or “Prince William, Duke of Cambridge” or “Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge”, as per protocol

3. Do not be overly formal but don’t over-familiarise either.

How to Write to the Private Secretary

 Commence letter:

Dear Sir

 End letter:

Yours faithfully

First reference to member of royal family:

Write in full, eg ‘His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales’.  Subsequently, eg, ‘The Prince’

 Substitute:

‘His/Her Royal Highness’ for ‘he/she’ and ‘His/Her Royal Highness’s’ for ‘his/her’.

 Alternate:

The above with ‘The Prince/The Princess/ The Duke/The Duchess’, as applicable to avoid repetition of HRH.
